I recently had the opportunity to visit Blixt’s & Co.’s incredible operation in Driggs, ID. Lars and Jen Magnusson and their team deliver an extremely polished traditional European shooting experience in beautiful foothills of the Tetons. Lars has brought his European roots and training to the US and provides driven pheasant and partridge shooting that was only found “across the pond”. All aspects of the shoot including lodge staff, gourmet food, fine wines, personal loaders, numerous dog handlers and large team of beaters proved to be first class from my arrival to departure. The shooting is awesome – lots of birds, very challenging and fast. I am hooked on driven bird shooting! Walk up/rough shooting is also offered in late season.
