Friends,
In late May friends and I to Argentina. Our first stop was Buenos Aires for some fantastic meals, an overnight, and then on to my favorite Argentina region – Patagonia. The mission was to hunt red stag, Russian boar, and puma. Mission accomplished. The group took nice stags, huge boars, and on day one a great pack of hounds found scent of a very old puma and trailed it onto a rock ledge on a high cliff. Big cat taken!
Patagonia is a region of massive wide open spaces with snow-capped mountain peaks, high mesas, endless grassy plains, and blue-ribbon trout streams Red stags, Russian boars, and pumas live here in great numbers. The country provides excellent hunting and the scenery is spectacular.
Our trip was hosted by a superb outfitter with a very fine lodge on the bank of the Collon Cura River. Food, lodging, guides, and services were first-rate. I highly recommend this trip.
My trip ended with a night at the Llao Llao Hotel in Bariloche. This hotel (www.llaollao.com) is situated in the foothills of the Andes on hill overlooking Lake Moreno and Lake Nahuel Huapi. The Llao Llao is one of leading hotels of the world. The view from the hotel is absolutely incredible! I strongly recommend some time spent in Bariloche.
Call or email for more information. A Patagonia adventure is a must!!
