Gordie was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. He grew up hunting and fishing with his father, brother and grandfather. After completing a BA in Economics from Concordia University, Gordie began his big game guiding career. He hunted extensively in Quebec, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon Territory and Montana.
Before moving to Georgia and becoming Operations Manager for a very successful hunting plantation, Gordie spent 4 years working in Zimbabwe with a safari company spending most of his time hunting elephant and buffalo.
Most recently, Gordie managed large hunting ranches in south Texas that were intensely managed for trophy whitetail deer and wild quail. He has hunted and fished throughout North America, Central America, South America, New Zealand and Africa. Gordie’s spent his professional career in the field, consulting worldwide big game hunting and wingshooting.
